Are you thinking of throwing a birthday party for your children soon and you dread holding it in the McDonalds? Me too, unless I run out of ideas or get too busy.

I actually find holding a party at home less stressed, more fun and carries more warmth. Now, if your apartment or house happens to be a little too small, dont be shy to ask your siblings or friends who live in condominiums if they come with an events room. Personally, I prefer a residential venue, but of course you can hold it anywhere. The point is how to make the party fun for the kids and adults alike.

Here are some Birthday party ideas:Face Painting

In recent years especially, I see face painting activity in about 6 out of 10 childrens parties that I attended. And let me tell you, it never fails to add fun, laughter and joy in all these parties. The children queue up for it without complains, even the notorious ones. As they wait patiently in the queue they are all busy talking about the face painting designs they would like on their faces. They often go wild in the first 20-30 seconds when they got off the stool, showing off to their siblings, friends and parents. You can be sure, any parent there will reach for their cameras, taking multiple pictures in great delights. I highly recommend this activity for your childs birthday party.Dress Up

The Daddies may be less excited about dressing up their kids, but most proud moms and their kids love it. Dressing up really add a lot of extra flare and excitement to a birthday party. Seeing children mimicking their favorite Disney character or Super Action hero is just so amazing an experience.

The parents of the birthday kid will have some challenge though. Because they have to work harder to make their star of the night more conspicuous than other kids. But I am sure this is not a reason to avoid a dress up party.

When you combine both Face Painting and Dress Up themes together, you have created an extremely fun event for adults and kids alike. It will be an unforgettable experience for many. Try them out!

Dont forget the party bags for children too!
